I paid but haven't received my downloads. What should I do?
First, just in case, please check your spam folder to see if the email with your links went there! 

If not, email us, and we will make sure that you receive them.  Please allow a reasonable amount of time (at least 24 hours) for us to receive your message and respond (although we will often respond much more quickly than that!)

If you have made a purchase and cannot locate your download links or have trouble downloading, please email us at INFO@LUNAGIRL.COM.  We will respond as quickly as possible to assist you! 

What is the format and size of the images?
All Vintage Images From Lunagirl images are in JPG format.  Dimensions in pixels and file size are shown in the image details for each image (look to the left of the Add to Cart button). 

 

Please note information on pixel dimensions and file size before purchasing, to make sure that the image file you license will suit your needs.  We encourage you to ask questions before purchasing if you are not sure, because digital items are non-refundable.

Note that "medium" & "small" sizes are for personal non-commercial use only.

 

Are there any restrictions on my use of the Vintage Images From Lunagirl that I download?
What you are purchasing is a LICENSE which gives you the right to use the image(s) in accordance with the terms of that license.  Ownership of all digital files remains with our company, and while many commercial uses are allowed, certain uses are prohibited or limited.  Please CLICK HERE for complete license terms and conditions.

May I share or resell these digital images?
Although many commercial uses are allowed under our license, Lunagirl-Images.com images may not be resold, shared, copied, or otherwise redistributed, except as specifically allowed by the license terms.  Please CLICK HERE for complete license terms and conditions. 

No.  Most of our images started out in the public domain, which means that the copyright had expired or that they were never copyrighted.  However, creative alterations of a public domain image can create copyright protection for the altered version, or at the very least for the alterations themselves.  This is the case with many Lunagirl images.  To use an oft-cited example, if you take a photo of the Statue of Liberty, you don't own the Statue of Liberty but you do own your photo.  Similarly although the original piece of ephemera may still be public domain, if we creatively alter a digital photo of that piece of ephemera we own the altered version.   

 

There is also the issue of licensure.  All Lunagirl images are offered under license, regardless of copyright status, as is common practice in the stock image industry.  The legal system generally upholds licensure, even for public domain images, in recognition of the time, money, and production work expended in acquiring, restoring and compiling the images.  We are pleased to make these images available for the lowest commercial licensing fees we know of.

 

Is account sharing allowed?
No, sharing an account is no different than distributing our materials to others. Individual accounts must be purchased by your friends and colleagues.

 

Do you add images on a regular basis?
Yes. Click on "Newest Photos" to see the latest images that we have posted.

Do you offer refunds?
Once your purchase is made we cannot offer a refund. The reason for this policy is because we offer instant delivery of digital material, and as such there is no way for our products to be returned. All sales are final.
